Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Deep Dish Pizza Recipe


  • 4 cups (17 ounces) all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 3/4 teaspoons (1 package) instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons lukewarm water


  • 3/4 pound mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 pound Italian sweet or hot sausage
  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

For the crust:
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the dough hook, combine all the crust ingredients. Knead on medium-low speed until the dough becomes smooth and soft, about 7 minutes. The dough can also be kneaded by hand or with a bread machine.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until very puffy, about 1 hour.

While the dough is rising, grease one large 14-inch deep dish pizza pan or two 9-inch cake pans with non-stick vegetable oil spray, then pour in 3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil, tilting it to cover the bottom of the pan, and partway up the sides.

Once the dough is risen, use your hands to stretch it out into a circle that is slightly larger than the pizza pan or two circles slightly larger than the cake pans. Lay the dough in the pan(s), and stretch it towards the edges until it starts to shrink back. Cover, and let it rest for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 425°F while the dough rests.

Continue stretching the dough until it covers the bottom of the pan, then gently push it up the sides of the pan. Let the crust rest for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, until it’s set and barely beginning to brown.

For the filling:
Meanwhile, drain the tomatoes thoroughly. In a medium bowl combine the tomatoes, garlic, sugar, and Italian herbs. Cover the bottom of the crust with the sliced mozzarella. Add the sausage then the tomato mixture. Sprinkle with the grated Parmesan.

Bake the pizza for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the topping is golden brown. Remove it from the oven, and use a large spatula to carefully lift it out of the pan onto a rack. Allow the pizza to cool for about 10 to 15 minutes before cutting and serving.

White Chicken Chili Recipe


  • 2 (14.5-ounce) cans white beans, rinsed and drained
  • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth, divided
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (see note)
  • 2 medium poblano peppers, seeded and diced (see note)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • Salt
  • 1 rotisserie chicken, skin removed and shredded (about 4 cups)
  • 3/4 cup frozen corn
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, from one lime, plus more to taste

Optional For Serving

  • Sour cream
  • Crushed tortilla chips
  • Lime wedges


  1. In a food processor, blend 1/2 of the beans (1 can) with 1 cup of the chicken broth. Set aside both the puréed beans and the remaining whole beans.
  2. Add the vegetable oil to a large pot or Dutch oven and heat it over medium heat. Add the onion, jalapeño pepper and poblano peppers and sauté until soft, about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for one minute more. Add the cumin, coriander and ancho chili powder and continue to cook, stirring frequently, for 1minute more to toast the spices. Add the chicken stock, puréed beans and 1/2 teaspoon of salt; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
  3. Stir in the shredded rotisserie chicken, reserved whole beans, corn, cilantro and lime juice; bring back to a simmer and cook until everything is heated through, about 5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and lime juice, if necessary. (The broth will be somewhat soupy — that’s how it is supposed to be. It thickens the longer it sits; see note below.) Serve the chili in individual bowls with a dollop of sour cream, crushed tortilla chips, and lime wedges.
  4. Note: The seeds in the peppers hold all of the heat. I don’t use them to keep the chili mild and family-friendly, but if you like a spicy chili, save them and stir some in at the end.
  5. Note: The chili thickens as it sits. If you make it ahead of time, you will probably need to add more broth or water to thin it out.

Spinach Lasagna Recipes


  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 5 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup light olive oil
  • 2 cups diced onions (about 2 onions)
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup minced garlic
  • 3-8 ounce packs mushrooms (shiitake, cremini, button), thinly sliced
  • 16 ounce bag frozen spinach, defrosted and drained of liquid
  • 1-15 ounce container ricotta cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1-12 or 16 ounce box of “no boil” lasagne noodles
  • 6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese


Pre-heat the oven to 350 ºF.

Bechamel Sauce:
  1. Melt butter over medium high heat then whisk in flour.
  2. Cook for about three minutes until roux is light golden brown.
  3. Whisk in the milk, salt and nutmeg, and allow mixture to slowly come to a boil.
  4. Immediately turn down to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Sauce will thicken and the flavors will marry. Stir the sauce often with a whisk to prevent sticking.
  5. After 10 minutes, set aside for now. Reserve 1/2 cup separate from the rest of the batch.

Eggplant Lasagna Recipes


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced very thin
  • 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1½ teaspoons dried basil
  • 1½ teaspoons dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 medium eggplant, sliced very thin
  • 8 ounces shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a medium nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Sauté onion until tender, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Transfer to an 8×8 or 9×13 baking dish.
  5. Sauté the garlic for 1 minute.
  6. Add the crushed tomato, basil, oregano, and salt, and cook gently over medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
  7. Spread a layer of this mixture over the onion layer.
  8. Add a layer of eggplant and follow with a layer of tomato.
  9. Sprinkle ⅓ of the mozzarella cheese over top.
  10. Repeat layers of eggplant, tomato, and cheese until you use all ingredients.
  11. Finish with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  12. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  13. Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes, or until layer of cheese is light brown.

  • Cooking Spray
  • Beef Stew Meat, 2 lbs.
  • Salt, ½ tsp.
  • Onions, 3 cups (chopped)
  • Cumin Seeds, 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic Cloves, 6 (minced)
  • Dry Red Wine, 1 cup
  • White Vinegar, ¼ cup
  • Chili Powder, 2 tbsp.
  • Oregano, 2 tbsp. (dried)
  • Black Pepper, ½ tsp. (cracked)
  • Low-salt Beef Broth, 14¼ oz.
  • Beer, 12 oz.
  • Fresh Cilantro, ½ cup (chopped)
  • Onion, ½ cup (chopped)
  • Fat-free Sour Cream, ½ cup
  • Jalapeño Pepper, 3 tbsp. (finely chopped)

Firstly, you need to heat a large Dutch oven, after coating it with cooking spray. Heat this over medium-high heat. Now, sprinkle the beef with some salt and pepper. Then, place about half of the beef in a pan and cook it for about 8 minutes. You need to repeat the procedure with the remaining beef. Now, add onions to the pan and sauté it for about 5 minutes. Once it cooks evenly and turns a light shade of brown, add cumin, jalapeño, and garlic. Sauté this for about 1 minute. Then, add the wine and scrape the pan to loosen the browned bits and then, put the beef back into it. Then, stir in the vinegar along with chili powder, dried oregano, and the low-salt beef broth. Bring this to a boil. Cover it and reduce the heat. You must let it simmer for about 1½ hours and also check if the beef is tender. Keep stirring occasionally. Then, uncover and let it simmer. Stir in the cilantro and serve it with onions and sour cream.
